Awaken Earth

     I woke up early to a beautiful sunrise this past weekend.  Recently it's been very cold, and the lack of sunlight has caused me to stay indoors huddled around the heater.  I saw this gorgeous sunrise and had to get the camera out.

This shot does not do it justice.  Hopefully my skills will improve and I can better capture nature's true beauty.

Beautiful morning...kinda cold but the sunlight hitting the clouds was gorgeous.

Old Fence

     During a drive through the country yesterday I came across this old fence.  I thought it looked cool so I took a few shots.

            While driving past a corn field this afternoon I noticed some turkeys having lunch.

Good light today...

     Finally, a day with good lighting.  The weather has warmed up quite comfortably and the ice and snow have started to melt.  I stopped by my favorite lake today to check on the local mallard group.  They were very active today.

Bison

     I decided to check out a state park that's close to my house.  They have a small herd of bison.  This one was pretty relaxed.
